Becca Lindahl

Becca Lindahl, a Professional Learning & Leadership Consultant with Heartland AEA 11 in central Iowa, earned her master's degree in education from Drake University and recently earned her doctorate in administrator leadership in teaching and learning from Walden University. Before supporting schools in Heartland, Becca was a central Iowa high school French, English, and Spanish teacher for 17 years. From there she became a high school principal in central Wisconsin, and then, upon moving back to central Iowa, she became a K-12 curriculum leader for several years.

Heartland is a mid-level state educational agency whose consultants serve in accredited public and nonpublic schools to directly support educators as they strive to improve learning for all students. Becca supports secondary educators particularly in the areas of implementing Authentic Intellectual Work (AIW) and the Iowa Core, including the Common Core state standards. She has worked with educators to help lead their learning, through collaborative teaming within a professional learning community, in the areas of standards-based grading and reporting, assessment literacy, and concept-based learning, among other areas of learning.
