Sally Anderson

Sally Anderson is President of The Education Leadership Group, which delivers customized services to a variety of clients. She advises executives and governing boards, facilitates strategic planning processes and designs professional development programs. With more than two decades in leadership positions in K-12 education, Anderson uses her expertise as a trainer, facilitator and consultant in school reform. She applies her experience as a leader, manager and educator to the challenges of change in school systems. She has extensive expertise in designing change initiatives for the core business of schools - curriculum, instruction and assessment. Her background in quality, systems and the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, as well as her technical expertise makes her uniquely qualified as an educational strategist.

Prior to developing her consultancy, Anderson had been a central office leader and administrator in urban, rural and cooperative agencies. As a consultant, she has worked with foundations on educational reform initiatives in several states as well as school districts, charter schools and colleges. She earned a Doctorate in Education with an emphasis in adult learning and organizational behavior, a Master's degree in Communication and a Bachelor's in Speech and Language Pathology.
